100th day of school

                                                      100th day of school celebration.

Friday February 9th was our 100th day of school. We have learned and grew in 100 days. We counted to 100. During small group we worked together to come up with what we could build with 100 blocks. As a team we decided to build city with 100 blocks. Also, we  stacked a hundred solo red cups to see what 100 looked like. During morning meeting we answered the question I wish I could have 100 of...

Then we joined Kindergarten through third grade for a 100 dance party. We danced to various 100 day songs as well as dance moves from 1920's through today.  The classes dressed up like what they think they would wear in 100 years.

Here are some photos of our celebration.

Catholic Schools Week

We celebrated Catholic Schools Week January 28th thru February 2,

Catholic Schools week started on Sunday January 28th with mass each class was represented by carrying a cross down the aisle.

During the week we had a spelling bee for 1st through 8th grade. Pre k had fun cheering everyone on. Then we had a laser show which we though was cool. We had fund with our glow sticks.

Our buddies from 7th grade came and read to us. Then we enjoyed smores.

There were visitors (alumni) Mr. Ken who is a volunteer firefighter came to talk to us about how he went to our school. Then he talked to us about fire safety. We got fire hats.

On the last day of Catholic Schools week we celebrated our teachers. We dressed like teachers and attending mass. Then 8th graders came and taught our a lesson. They played winter BINGO with us. We enjoyed having them play with us.
