We're Going on a Bear Hunt

 

Pre K was busy this week Reading the story We're Going on a Bear Hunt.  Through the story we worked on positional words. (under, over).  We worked on using our sequencing skills. We retold the story and put the steps we took on the bear hunt. Then we made a map of  our steps that we took our bear hunt.  We also did Yoga from Cosmic Kid, that taught us the tree pose, and bridge pose.

100th day of school

 100th day of School

Pre k celebrated the 100th day of school on February 10, 2022  As we celebrated the 100th day of school we talked about all things we love and learned in our 100 days of school. Some of things we said that we love and learned.

We said that we love to read books, writing our names, blocks, pizza day, the egg experiment, and playdough, singing, and making snowflakes. 

We read the story Centipede's 100 Shoes. Then we counted 100 circles and glued them together to see what 100 looks like. We then glued 100 shoes on our centipede.  We also worked on 100 day stem. We made something using 100 Legos, 100 popsicle sticks, 100 straws, and 100 pipe cleaners

Pass the letter Game

 

We had fun recognizing the uppercase letters and then matching them to their lowercase. We passed the letter bag filled with magnetic uppercase letters around the circle. Then when the song stopped we picked a letter and showed our friends and said what letter. Then we went to the white board and put it under the lowercase letter.
