PK 3 week

This week in PK 3 we continued our theme about farms. We read the books The Big Red Hen and Farm Tractors.  We also read the book The Grumpy Morning.
We worked on making tractors using rectangles and circles. The letter of the week is T. We read the book T is for Turkey.
We enjoyed Spanish we Mrs. Ramos she is teaching us the names of our body parts.

This week in Pk3

This week in PK 3 were busy learning about the farm. We also worked on our fine motor skills by using playdough.  Our buddies in fourth grade read us the story of The Little Pigs. For art we used bubble wrap to create an ear of corn. During story time we heard the stories Farming by Gail Gibbons, Corn by Gail Gibbons and the story Before We Eat Farm to Table.  The letter of the week was the letter Cc. We came up with words that begin with the letter Cc.  In math we made a poster of Old Mac Donald's Farm. We put stickers of how many animals that he had on his farm. We also, enjoyed the pep rally.

Today in Prek 3 we made butter

We have been busy learning about the farm. We read the story Big Red Barn and Mrs. Wishy Washy. We learned about different animals that live on the farm, and what they give us. Today we learned about cows, and how cows give us milk. Then we made butter by shaking cream and salt together to make butter then we tasted it on a cracker.
