All about the season of Fall
We have been busy exploring the season of Fall. Created a chart where we shared what we know about the season of fall. Introduced the letters A and L. A for apple and L for leaves. During circle we talked about things we see in the season of Fall. Listened to stories about the season. Explored and described an apple. In our science area we have some leaves and acorns. In block area we have some pretend pumpkins to build farms. We read the story How to make an apple pie and see the world. Then we made an apple pie in a bowl. We crushed graham crackers and added apple pie filling. Pre K created a tree for our dramatic play area. Then we used the pointer to point to the apple with our name on it. In our science area we explored popcorn kernels, leaves, acorns, and leaves. We used our fine motor skills to measure and stir and feel the objects.
