Pre K enjoyed field day. They had a lot of fun activities for us to participate in.
The best activity was the bounce house.
We had a lot of fun at the Water ball station. It was fun throwing the wet balls at each other.
Exploring how we can move the parachute up and down was fun as well.
We had Italian Ice for snack!
Pre k is learning all about plants and gardens. We planted eggplant seeds for the community garden.
This week we put a lima bean in a Ziplock bag and were observing it to see what will happen. We talked about the parts of the plants and labeled them as we made a flower. The vocabulary words for our theme were stem, leaves, flowers, and seeds. All plants have these parts. Also, we leaned that plants need air, water, sun, and soil to live.
During our science discovery we observed celery stalks. We looked at the stem and leaves. Then we predicted what will happen if we put celery stalks in different colored water. We said that it will grow, the leaves are going change colors, and it float.
During the month of March we were busy celebrating Read Across America and Dr. Seuss's birthday. They were so many reading activities....
